One of my goals for this year is to go to three writing conferences/workshops, and I just got accepted into Libba Bray and Barry Goldblatt's Advanced Writer Weekend! Needless to say, I am thrilled. Really looking forward to meeting my fellow writers and going to Austin! Plus, I'll get to live and write in a barn! How cool is that?
Excitement aside, I'm almost done with the first draft of my new novel. It's another YA fantasy with a touch of history and and hint of fairy tale (mostly original, some borrowed). I'll talk more about it when I'm further along.
